Pass your exam or we’ll pay for your retake.

We’re so confident that you’ll pass your exams with our Expert Subscription, that we’ll pay for your retake if you don’t pass.

Pass the AREⓇ Guarantee requirements

  1. Purchase an Expert subscription & take the whole course

  2. (Most likely) pass your exam and celebrate!

    1. In the unlikely event that you don’t pass, update your exam results on your dashboard and follow the instructions to get an NCARB seat credit.

What this means:

  • Subscribe to a monthly or annual Expert subscription

  • Take the whole Black Spectacles course

  • Report all pass/fails on your dashboard along with all scheduled exam dates*

  • Make a claim by submitting your NCARB AREⓇ Score Report for proof of fail right away through this URL.

*Always input your scheduled exam date into your Dashboard. This is the starting point to your Guarantee eligibility.

How to apply for the free seat credit through NCARB

Once we validate your score report, in 2-6 business days, you'll receive an automated email with instructions on how to request a seat credit through your NCARB account.
