Q: How will I receive my gift card?

A: Gift cards are sent via email through Tango Card. Please check your spam/junk!

Q: Is there a limit on how many referrals and rewards I can receive?

A: No! For every referral that subscribes to an ARE 5.0 subscription, you will receive a $50 gift card and your referral will receive 15% off their subscription.

Q: Who is eligible for the referral program?

A: All current & former Black Spectacles members are eligible for the referral program. Be sure to sign up with the email you use to sign into Black Spectacles.

Q: Can I use my own referral code?

A: No. Referrals are reviewed before gift cards are issued. If you redeem your own code, or if it's used by an account connected to you (i.e., your name is on the account or credit card), you won’t receive a gift card, and the code will be deactivated. You may also be charged back the discount on your next renewal or purchase.

Q: Can I use a referral code to upgrade my subscription?

A: No. Referral codes do not apply to account upgrades and will not be successfully applied to your charge.
